The Citroen C8 debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 2002. He came to replace the Evasion model developed by the PSA Peugeot Citroen concern together with Fiat in 1994. The car is a convenient and comfortable minivan, great for a large family. Reliable assistant not only for the transport of passengers, but also cargo. Like its predecessor, the C8 is a joint venture of the PSA concern. The appearance of the car turned out modern and original. Large integral headlights, vertical "garlands" of rear lights, a huge handle on the fifth door - all this looks spectacular. The Citroen C8 has become longer, taller and wider than its predecessor.

Two adjustments of a steering column and the big range of vertical adjustment of a seat will provide comfortable placement to the driver of any complete set.
If you remove all the seats, except for the two front seats, you get a flat cargo compartment with a volume of 2948 liters. In the standard version, the luggage compartment volume is 480 liters. The trunk also has a special luggage net.
It is quite durable, and if you hang it between the rear pillars, you get a roomy “hammock”, which, by the way, is useful when the trunk is empty - you can store small things in it so that they do not roll on the trunk or the cabin. In general, the composition of the interior is very harmonious. The engine range offers as many as five options: three petrol volumes of 2.0 l / 138 hp, 2.2 l / 160 hp and 3.0 V6 / 208 hp (this power unit appeared only in 2003) and two HDi turbo diesel - 2.0 l / 110 hp and 2.2 l / 136 hp With a three-liter engine, the C8 accelerates to 100 km / h in 11 seconds, and the maximum speed is 211 km / h. It is aggregated only with an automatic transmission.
The list of standard equipment includes the ESP stabilization system, ABS c EBD, six airbags, a tire pressure drop sensor and the Parktronic system. Due to multiplex wiring, which facilitates the installation of new devices, the owner of C8 will be able to easily expand the list of equipment with various options. Citroen C8 is available in four versions: LX, SX, Exclusive and the most luxurious - Exclusive Captain Chair. LX are equipped only with petrol engines. Turbo diesel engines are installed on the SX.
C8 Exclusive is available only with 2, 2-liter gasoline engine. As for the top version of the Exclusive Captain Chair, then the buyer will have a choice: to install a 2.2-liter gasoline engine or a 2.2-liter turbo diesel. A distinctive feature of this version is a luxurious leather interior.
