Fiat Stilo in the three-door and five-door versions of the body replaced the Fiat Bravo in 2001. This representative of the golf class is based on the so-called “flexible” front-wheel drive Fiat platform CDH (Alfa-Romeo 147 has the same). Several more models were built on the basis of this platform, including the station wagon Stilo.
Model Stilo waited a serious competition. "Golf class", it is also a class C - the most intense segment of the automotive market. Almost all automakers have models of this class. Fiat has always been famous for its supercompacts, but it has long dreamed of trying its hand at a higher grade level. The car lives up to its name, which, incidentally, comes from the Italian "style". Fiat almost imperceptibly overcomes joints and small irregularities, and serious potholes are almost completely extinguished without a hint of breakdown - the suspension is powerful and energy-intensive. Since the spring of 2004, sales of updated versions of the Stilo model, offered with three body types, began: a 3- or 5-door hatchback and a wagon (Multiwagon). The appearance of cars has not changed very radically. The main changes affected the "poop." The rear door has been completely redone, the fog lights have been removed - they are now integrated into the updated tail lights. Bumpers and side moldings painted in body color, which gives the car a more elegant look.
Thanks to the angular shape of the body, the machine looks more powerful and compact. But despite the external compactness, the five-door Stilo is the longest and highest car in its class.
