In 2011, the world premiere of the Japanese crossover Mazda CX-5 took place at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt. Mazda CX-5 was the first serial representative of the brand, representing the new design direction "KODO - Soul of Motion" (literal translation: the spirit of motion), which debuted earlier on the concepts of Shinari and Minagi. The exterior is quite attractive and modern. The main distinctive features of the design - a large pentagonal grille.
There are seven possible colors, mainly shades of gray-black-and-white, two new ones, especially for CX-5 - red and blue. The interior pleases with good ergonomics and high-quality finishing materials. The seats can be trimmed with fabric or leather, with a choice of two colors - black or sand. Systems can be controlled using a washer in the center console or via a touchscreen display. In the presence of ports for USB and players, Bluetooth, navigation (and there is also the Russian language). In Europe, the new Mazda CX-5 will come in two versions - front and all-wheel drive, with a choice of two SkyActiv engines - a 2.0-liter gasoline unit with 165 hp.
