Xedos 6 debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 1991. This is a four-door sedan with an impressive design, excellent build quality and rich equipment. The model has taken a worthy place among the middle class cars. You could even say that the Xedos 6 is an improved and more sporty version of the Mazda 626 on the platform with which it is built. Serial production began in 1992. For reference, in Japan, Xedos 6 was sold under the name Eunos 500.

The body has a deformation zone absorbing the impact energy, and the interior has a special protective capsule, reinforced with additional stiffness bars. Airbag for the driver was standard.
