Kyron is one of the most popular Ssang Yong SUVs. He made his debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the fall of 2005. It has been supplied to Russia since the spring of 2006. The car is an interesting combination of non-standard design solutions with the classic design of an SUV.

The front of the new looks very modern and, in general, original. The chrome-plated, streamlined grille and unusual stamping on the body distinguish the Kyron in city traffic. Wide wheel arches instill a sense of reliability and durability. Under the hood, Kyron has a 2-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 141 hp. with the Common Rail power system, which guarantees minimum fuel consumption, both in urban and in the combined cycle. Car options with automatic and manual gearbox are offered. Existing 4x2 versions with a 2.7 l diesel engine in our country are not offered.
The 5-speed, T-Tronic automatic transmission with plug-in front-wheel drive, the spar frame and the independent torsion two-link suspension are not the last advantages of Kyron. Salon is consistent with the exterior of the car. Stylistically solid, very dull interior will delight the mass of interesting solutions. According to the creators, the interior decoration is based on the principle of "comfort and tranquility." Everything is done to make the driver feel comfortable: for this purpose the center console and the instrument panel are made in a very unusual form.
The location of the levers and buttons next to the gear knob will allow the driver to spend more time directly on the road. A series of round switches combines transmission control, heated seats and a headlight range control. Above them is another block of buttons, also united in a circle. And even higher - watches with stepped indication. The ergonomics of the cabin provides optimal landing geometry and comfort for drivers and passengers. The simplest model Kyron boasts the presence of ABS, dual airbags, climate control, electric mirrors and electric windows. And if you choose the most expensive equipment, then in addition to all the listed benefits, you can also get a leather interior, a rain sensor, an automatic light control system, a course stability system and electric front seats. On request, Kyron can be equipped with the Active Rollover Protection system, which helps to avoid car overturns, as well as the Hill Descent Control descent system.
Of the factors limiting the permeability can be noted a small clearance (according to the manufacturer, 199 mm under the rear axle and 210 mm in front) and the lack of protection from the bottom.
